This three-letter acronym of the lolspeak dictionary will the results I’m searching for from the aspiring world dominator who will be referred to as “sad bunny.” Clearing a little over 48 inches, (that’s 121.92cm for the Britts) this little fireball will bring me the uttermost satisfaction with a simple “omg” in response to only one of my photos, which are all conveniently located on my flickr. Of my most recent uploads, a fondness for a particular shade of pink (which, in actuality, was a shade of orange) was one of very few positive remarks; a great feat to be truthfully honest. It is safe to say, my journey to contentment is long from over. I take a sip of iced-ice tea and carry on. One day, sad bunny. One day.

Evidently, Celine’s new single, “My Love” has been doing exceptionally well of the AC charts. I’ve gotta say, this is pretty surprising. I personally don’t see the song as very ‘radio friendly’ and dare I say it, not necessarily one of my most favorites from Celine (nevertheless, still a very good song). But hey, weird stuff happens. Download and enjoy the newest single from the superstar below.

  1. “My Love” (Radio Edit) [4:09]
  2. “My Love” (My Love (Live from the Taking Chances Tour) [5:03]

…she can be mine anytime! The Canadian superstar will be releasing her new greatest hits record later this month entitled, My Love: The Essencial Collection. The compilation features some of Celine’s most successful and popular tracks along with the previously unreleased track, “There Comes A Time.” Recorded two summers ago, the song, originally entitled, “Let Me Be Your Solider” was initially recorded for Celine’s Taking Chances record but was ultimately cut from the final tracklist. But the song has returned, new title and all, to complete the new compilation. The ballad is exactly what one would expect from Mrs. Dion: a powerful ballad with those high notes–impossible to be reached by anyone else.

My Love: Essential Collection and two-disc edition, My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection will be released on October 28th.

I should probably be getting to work but after a certain Free Man linked me to his blog, my intriguement with this old blog has been once again, stirred. This is porbably one of the most random blogs but hey, it’s something. Um, yeah… so hopefully it gets interesting and hopefully I don’t forget about it ten days later.

“Friends become strangers…”

Vanessa Carlton’s an amazing songwriter, but it’s funny how music just seems to fit the situation every time I decide to get a new CD. It’s definitely not been the best of years and I guess I spoke too soon when I said the year was ending well. BIG MISTAKE. A good friendship is the juxtaposition of two things: trust and comfort. I mean, you’re suppose to be able to be so comfortable with your best friend, that you trust them enough to tell them anything, right? Guess what. I was WRONG AGAIN! I’ve really gotta stop becoming so close to people, because there’s always that other side you don’t know about, and when you find out about it, it’s crushing. I never really liked drama, but hurt is real, and it can be dramatic. I don’t want to have to deal with that ever again.

So here I am sitting at the computer, Christmas is gone, a new year approaching. It’s time for me to start over… I don’t think I can go on like this. I need to know that not everything is screwed up. What’s the point of living if you don’t socialize, if you don’t trust, hope, and love? We all so desperately want those things, but it always seems as if the contract includes the all-to-popular, fine print.

Change is surely inevitable. And as long as there is change, there will be secrets. Innovation aiding whispers kept safe in the hearts and minds of their owners. We should be honored when one decides to share their most intimate and best-kept secrets. Sometimes they’re so unexpected that we’re unsure of how to react. Yet, although something may be expected, having thoughts transformed into echoing words can have a lasting impact on someone. I just hope I can make good of this secret and help the person who had sufficient faith and trust in me to reveal it.

Another Merry Christmas

Boy! What a day it has been! I can’t believe it’s almost over! Of course, there’s the great time spent this past day with my family, along with the great food, making sure not to exclude the exchanging of gifts. But I just have to take time to recognize what this day is all about–the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Although it’s undoubtedly been an uncanny Christmas, this day is still centered around Him. Though he may have been in June, we must take time to reconize and honor his entrance into a world of which he saved. Merry Christmas to all and of course, a happy new year!

The Jaunt

So after sitting (or lying) in the jeep for about 20 hours, we finally made our way up from Orlando to New York.  And what a drive it was!  I slept throughout the first half of the duration of the trip… woke up while we were just passing through Virginia.  That part wasn’t so bad.  Yet, then again, the worst was yet to come.  For about the last three hours of the trip, we were stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic.  Making our way about a yard every five minutes.  Whoo hoo! How exciting!  Please take note of the sarcasm.  Anyway, we made it here about seven something at night and my sister’s curried-crab was the best after being trapped in that contraption we call an automobile for just below a day.  Needless to say, after nourishment, a long, hot, and steamy shower, I was knocked out for the night.  So here I am, New York… for the next week.  Let’s see what good comes of this holiday season.

Peace, love, joy, Merry Christmas, and all that good stuff!!

BTW, Time now is 10:15AM Eastern time…. still can’t get the time zone set on this thing!!
